Old Chinese seal, Qing Dynasty, 1893. The sides of the seal depict a scholar with a fan, followed by a huge bat.
Very fine cutting of the actual seal: „ Ting Ying Jiang Yue “ – The Pavilion and the Moon are reflected in the River.
Beautiful Shou Shan stone in warm gray tones. The pale gray part well used to depict the Scholar.
The artist’s name is engraved at the side of the seal, Bai Shi.
