Nice, antique Chinese Rosewood brush container (huang hua li – wood). Many spots with „ghost faces“ (gui lian), resulting from spaces with twigs.
This brush pot is from the Qing Dynasty- end 19th century. It is in fine condition, has no fissures or other faults.
It stands 5,7 inches, diametre: 5,5 inches. The center part of the bottom can be removed, as it should be.
