Dagmar Hermann, was engaged by the Vienna State Opera in 1946, where she remained for many years. She often participated in the Salzburg Festival throughout her career and sang at most major opera houses world wide.
In 1950 she participated in the performances of the Ring Cycle under Wilhelm Furtwaengler at Milan’s La Scala.
