Dedication to comrade Fritz Wachs in German and Chinese, signed in 1949. Fritz Jensen (1903 - 1955) was and Austrian writer, physician and communist. Being Jewish he fled the Nazi in 1939 and worked fort he Chinese Red Cross before he moved to the Liberated Areas to fight against the Japanese. Jensen returned to Austria in 1948 and worked for the newspaper of the Austrian Communist Party. April 1955 he visited China as a correspondent and took a trip from Hong Kong to Banding in Indonesia. Zhou Enlai was on the same plane which was attacked by the Guomindang. Zhuo Enlai survived, Fritz Jensen died along with other 10 journalists and member of that delegation. He is buried at the hero cemetery Babaoshan in Beijing.
