Giuseppe Taddei (born June 26, 1916) was an Italian baritone known for his work in Italian opera, particularly the works of Giuseppe Verdi, as well as for his work in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's and Richard Wagner's operas.

Taddei was born in Genoa and studied and debuted in Rome, where he sang regularly for several years. After being conscripted into the army in 1942, he returned to his singing career in 1946, performing for two seasons at the Vienna State Opera. His specialization in Mozart came later in his career, where he was particularly well known for the roles of Leporello from Don Giovanni and Figaro from Le nozze di Figaro. He recorded these roles with EMI in London with the Philharmonia Orchestra and Carlo Maria Giulini.

Taddei's wonderful vocal longevity allowed him to continue recording into old age with notable examples of his art being the title role in Verdi's "Falstaff" with Herbert von Karajan in the 1980s.
