Ricardo Odnoposoff (1914 - 2004) was an important Argentine Violinist.
He studied violin with Schueler and Carl Flesch and composition with Paul Hindemith till 1931. With only 17 years he gave his debut as soloist with the Berlin Philharmonics under Erich Kleiber.
He won several prices in Wien in 1932 and was second in Brussels 1937 ( first was David Oistrach ).
He moved the USA at the beginning of the 1940s and gave his debut at the Carnegie Hall in 1944. In this period he performed with Leonard Bernstein, Arturo Toscanini, Fritz Busch and André Cluytens.
