Sena Jurinac (born 1921 in Bosnia ) is a celebrated Austrian soprano. She is one of the finest singers of her generation, she excelled in Mozart, Richard Strauss, Wagner roles. She resigned from the operatic stage in 1983, but continues to teach and give recitals.
