Silvana Pampanini (born 1925 in Rome) is an Italian actress.
She was Miss Italy in 1946 and the following year she started her movie career.
She quickly became one of the most popular actresses in her country and thanks to her voluptuous body she was considered a sex symbol in the early '50s. In 1955 she visited New York, Denver and Hollywood where she rejected movie offers, partly because she find English unattractive.
She was very famous in Spain (where she starred in Tirma, la principessa delle Canarie), France, South America and Japan too.
In the '60s she left the movies for television.
