Zhang Wanzhong: Very well painted bamboo painting by the painter and calligrapher Zhang Wanzhong, painted in 1950.
Traditional, powerful composition. The artist managed to give the objects of the paintings a lively appearance, e.g. the leaves of the bamboo at top of the painting resemble a bird.
Signied and seal marked.
Size: 68" x 18" (45,5 x 174 cm) is the actual painting. Mounted as scroll with silk matting.
