Attractive blue-white porcelain bowl from the Qing Dynasty.
The bowl was used to present sacrificial offering to ancestors, e.g. fruits. It has a very interesting form with a slim body. Formed this way one just needed to sacrifice very little and still one had the impression it was very much.
Diameter at top 17 cm, at bottom 6,5 cm, height 8,3 cm. There is a small fire crack at the top brim.
The official wax seal which allowed export of antiques from China is still existing at the bottom of the bowl.
Seal at the bottom of the base.
