Very attractive Chinese Seal from Qing-Dynasty. Fu-Rong stone with handle in shape of old lotus leaves.

As actual seal engraved are 2 characters: Shuo Tang (great hall).

Side engraving with the name oft he artist: 石科 Shi Ke (zuo).

18 x 15 x 65 mm. 44 gram. Very fine condition.

The Autographs come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

The autographs come with a side letter and in the original cover with a violet „Casa de S.A.R. El Principe de Easpana“ – cancellation.

King Juan Carlos successfully oversaw the transition of Spain from dictatorship to parliamentary democracy.

Juan Carlos married Sophia of Greece and Denmark in 1962. The couple have three children and eight grandchildren.

Queen Sofía of Spain is the wife of King Juan Carlos I of Spain. By birth, she is a Princess of Greece and Denmark.

According to the Spanish Constitution, the monarch is also instrumental in promoting Ibero-American relations, the “nations of its historical community”.

In this capacity, the King of Spain serves as the president of the Ibero-American States Organization, representing over 700,000,000 people in twenty-four member nations worldwide. In 2008 he was considered the most popular leader in all Ibero-America.

Queen Sofía of Spain is the wife of King Juan Carlos I of Spain. By birth, she is a Princess of Greece and Denmark.

Red Cross, Portugal: Red Cross cover with a double imprinted stamp. Added is a sheet of an old stamp dealer, explaining the history of the stamp: ” These exceedingly rare stamps, there being but 50 of each used on cover in existence, …….”.

Qing Dynasty: Most attractive brushpot, made of heavy, dark rosewood, Zi Tan. Signed Wu Duming, 1844.

Diameter 5,5 inches (14 cm), height 6,2 inches (16 cm), weight 1,5 kg (!)

Carved at the front side are 2 warriors in heavy armor and a standard bearer. At the reverse a longer text in neat Xing-Shu is
engraved.
Very attractive brushpot, a really eye-catcher.

European 18. -19th century snuff box made of horn. The cask cover with floral marquetry, using tortoiseshell – and metal-strips.

On one small side is a short crack (5mm), at the front size the horn shows minor aging, otherwise good condition.

Size: 8,8 x 4,0 x 2,6 cm (3,5 x 1,6 x 1 inches), 63 gram.

Anna Pavlovna (Matveyevna) Pavlova (Russian: Анна Павловна (Матвеевна) Павлова; (also Pawlowa 1881 – 1931) was a Russian prima ballerina of the late 19th and the early 20th centuries. She was a principal artist of the Imperial Russian Ballet and the Ballets Russes of Sergei Diaghilev. Pavlova is most recognized for the creation of the role The Dying Swan and, with her own company, became the first ballerina to tour ballet around the world.

Decorative, old Chinese Leisure Seal in Shape of Rock

Old Chinese Seal in decorative design of a solid rock.

The sides of the seals are carved and depict 2 scholars at a rock, trees and houses at the reverse.

At the right upper part 4 characters are engraved, which are also the actual seal: gao shan liu shui – 高山流水 (water is flowing from the high mountains).

44 x 20 x 59 mm, 55 gram. Very fine condition, it feels good in hand and comes in a (newer) box.

Set of 6 Leisure Seals by Zhang Changjia 张昌甲 (1827 – ?)

Qing Dynasty: Six brown-grey, (smoke-colored) shoushan-seals, all 6 very well carved by the important seal carver Zhang Changhua (1827 – ?).

Each seal with side engraving 隽生 Jun Sheng, the courtesy name of 张昌甲 Zhang Changjia.

10 x 10 x 50 mm, good condition.
